Good morning, Father,
Thank You for this new day, for the grace that has awakened me, and for Your presence that fills this early morning peace. I come before You simply, with a heart full of love and concern for my child.
Lord, You see the world in which our children are growing up. You see all the snares, lies, and temptations that lie in wait for them at every turn, and You know how difficult these times can be. Therefore, today, with all my faith, I cling to Your wondrous promise for them and for all our descendants.
“For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.” (Isaiah 44:3)
Father, grant me wisdom, strength, and patience, that I may fulfill Your commandment. Help me to be an example, and may Your word not be only in my mind, but continually on my lips and in my actions, so that my child will see and hear it in daily life.
“Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” (Deuteronomy 6:7)
I pray that my child may find joy and safety in Your word. May they come to know that it is a map for life, a source of truth in a world of confusion, and the only sure way to keep their heart and path pure before You.
“How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word.” (Psalm 119:9)
Help them to understand the reality of these words and to live wisely. May they not waste precious time on things that draw them away from You, but rather use every moment for Your glory.
“Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.” (Ephesians 5:15-16)
Lord, I pray that my child will not be merely a passive observer, but a light. May their youth not be an obstacle, but an opportunity to show others what it means to live with You—in word, in conduct, in love, and in purity of heart.
“Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.” (1 Timothy 4:12)
Thank You that this battle for my child’s soul is not mine alone. When the pressures of the world seem too strong and the enemy’s forces too great, remind me that it is You who fights for them. You are their Savior.
“For thus says the LORD: ‘Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken, and the prey of the tyrant be rescued, for I will contend with those who contend with you, and I will save your children.'” (Isaiah 49:25)
I stand on the truth that You are faithful. Your faithfulness is a shield and armor for my child. I trust that You Yourself will strengthen them and guard them from every evil that would seek to destroy them.
“But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.” (2 Thessalonians 3:3)
May my child always seek refuge in You. May they know that in Your presence is the safest hiding place, a place of rest and peace where the enemy cannot reach them. May they dwell in the shadow of Your wings.
“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” (Psalm 91:1)
And when they face the pressures of the world, with its lies and doubts, I ask You, Holy Spirit, to remind them of this mighty truth: that You are in them, and that no power is stronger than You.
“You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” (1 John 4:4)
Father, I entrust my child to You for this day. Protect them, guide their steps, and fill their heart with Your peace and love.
In Jesus’ name.
Amen.
