My Father,
I thank you for saving me through the finished work of Jesus Christ.
You washed away my sins with His precious Blood and made me stand before you in righteousness.
Your word says in 1 John 3:1-3:
See how great a love the Father has given us, that we would be called children of God, and in fact, we are.
For this reason, the world does not know us because it did not know Him.
Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not yet appeared what we will be.
We know that we will be like Him when He appears because we will see Him just as He is.

And everyone with this hope set on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.
Lord, this understanding gives me great hope as I go about my daily business, knowing I will see Jesus one day.
I also understand that it is my responsibility to keep myself pure from the corruption of this world as I wait for that day.
Father, you are a holy God; only sacred people can dwell with you.
I am reading Psalms 24:1-6:
The earth is the Lord’s, and all it contains is the world and those living in it.
For He has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers.
Who may ascend onto the hill of the Lord? And who may stand in His holy place?
One with clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted his soul to deceit
and has not sworn deceitfully.
He will receive a blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
This is the generation of those who seek Him and Your face—even Jacob.
Lord, I ask that you purify my heart through the same blood that sanctified and made me holy.
Cleanse my spiritual garments from every stain of sin, and give me the grace to avoid anything that will pollute my heart.
Father, let my heart be willing to resist the devil and his sinful suggestions, knowing he plans to separate me from you and destroy me forever.
Thank you for fighting for me and helping me to live for your glory.
I know you have heard my prayer, in Jesus’ name.
Amen.
