Dear Father,

Thank you for loving me so much that You gave Your beloved son for me as a ransom for my soul. His sacrifice granted me the gift of being Your child and heir to all the blessings You have prepared for Your people.

Thank You, Father, for always caring for me and showing up for me so many times, both in big ways and in the subtle interventions I may not even be aware of. Thank you for all the career opportunities You have sent my way and for providing for my family and me.

I come before You to worship and glorify You, for You have been my companion in times of joy and my refuge when I felt overwhelmed by fears and insecurity.

“I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.”
Psalm 16:7-8

Today I surrender all that I have and all that I am to You. I surrender my knowledge, my abilities, my needs, and my finances to You. Renew them all through Your love and Your will for me. I pray for the spirit of wisdom and knowledge that I may be a better steward of the gifts You bestow upon me.

Thank You for ensuring my safety and comfort by providing me with everything I need for daily life. Thank You for the clothes on my back, the roof over my head, the meal on my table, the job that provides, and the strength to fulfill Your purpose for me.

You say that we should not worry about what we will eat, what we will drink, and what we will wear, because You already care about us (Matthew 6:25-33). And You have surely not let me suffer or want for any of these things.

Father, I also surrender to Your care all my current expenses and future contingencies, whether or not I am already planning for them. I trust and believe that despite my short-term lack, You will be there to help me not only survive but thrive.

Just as Mary intervened at Cana, when Jesus turned water into wine and, with His generous gift, saved the wedding festivities (John 2:1-11), I humbly ask today that You intervene in my financial situation. Lord, thank You in advance for Your wonderful miracles.

I also pray that You help me establish a healthy attitude toward money so I can freely make sensible and wise decisions as a steward of Your gifts. I ask You to open my eyes and my mind to the right opportunities, so I can make the most of what You provide.

Father, send the Holy Spirit to give me a spirit of prudence and protect me from hasty decisions, greed, compulsive and unnecessary purchases, and people who could harm me financially.

Transform my heart and protect it from any weaknesses. Lord, guide me away from any paths that will not fulfill Your desires for my life.

“‘Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,’ says the Lord Almighty, ‘and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it. I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not drop their fruit before it is ripe,’ says the Lord Almighty. ‘Then all the nations will call you blessed, for yours will be a delightful land,’ says the Lord Almighty.”
Malachi 3:10-12

Father, You are the God of abundance and timely provision. I trust You completely, and I place my financial situation in Your care. Just as Jesus fed the whole crowd (Matthew 14:15-21), I believe that You can reach out and meet my needs.

Finally, Lord, strengthen my faith and trust in You, not only in my finances but in every aspect of my life.

All this I pray, trusting and believing in You.
