Morning Prayer For Today – Let Me Walk in Love

Dear Father,

Thank you for another beautiful day such as this one. Thank you for the opportunity to talk with you today and always.

Today, I ask you to help me pray from my heart and truly connect with you in spirit and truth.

Your Word in Luke 10:27-28 says:

He said in reply, “You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your being, with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.” 

He replied to him, “You have answered correctly; do this and you will live.”

Lord, I ask for myself and every believer a heart that loves you deeply.

I pray that the Gospel of Jesus becomes more apparent each day, helping me understand and appreciate your love more and more.

Lord Jesus, I know that your love for me is unconditional and freely given to me regardless of where I’ve been.

And you instructed us in John 13:34

I give you a new commandment: love one another. As I have loved you, so you also should love one another.

Therefore, I pray I will demonstrate this love to everyone I encounter daily.

Help me to love and forgive like I am loved and forgiven too.

Father, I know that you know all things. You are the Almighty, the beginning and the end.

You are aware of the many distractions and falsehoods in the world today. Many people are being deceived into picking up practices that are not in your Word.

I found out that you talked about this in Galatians 1:6-7 long ago when you said:

I am amazed that you are so quickly forsaking the one who called you by the grace of Christ for a different gospel (not that there is another). 

But there are some who are disturbing you and wish to pervert the gospel of Christ. 

Lord, because of this, I ask you to strengthen all your children to remain steadfast to the end.

May guilt, fear, or pressures of life not drive me into a different form of worship that does not agree with what pleases you, Lord Jesus.

And may your love remain firm in my heart, empowering me to overcome whatever the enemy throws at me today.

I love you, Jesus, and I trust that I will see your faithfulness to me.
