Morning Prayer for Today – Your Joy Is My Strength

Sweet Holy Spirit,

Thank you for always being with me. Even when I don’t feel or see you, you are always close, strengthening and comforting me.

Today, I pray that you will fill my heart with joy and strengthen me from all that tries to weigh me down.

Your word says in Ephesians 6:10:

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might.

I am also reading Nehemiah 8:10:

Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. 

This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

Lord, I confess my frustrations before you. I surrender my weaknesses, desperation and resignations.

Of my strength, I can’t make it further. But with you, Lord, I feel refreshed day by day both to stand and to be a means of encouragement to others.

Therefore, Lord, please replace my inabilities with your ability. Let me be strengthened by the understanding of your presence and support always.

In every area where I need inspiration, Holy One, please inspire my heart and always fill me with joy and gladness. I will not fear, and I will not be discouraged.

Thank you for answering me, Lord.
