Morning Prayer for Today – You Have Been Faithful

Dearest Father,

I want to acknowledge your faithfulness to me over the past months and years.

I am not doing this merely as a prayer routine but as an honest expression of my thanks.

Thank you for loving my family and me the way you do and keeping us safe from harm’s way, providing for all our needs.

I remember your words in Lamentations 3:21-23:

I recall this to my mind, therefore I wait.

The Lord’s acts of mercy indeed do not end, for His compassions do not fail.

They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.

Father, I have seen you come through for me in the most unusual and unexpected situations. 

You never go back on your promise but make sure to keep them over my life and situation.

Thank you for always showing me mercy and forgiving me when I go contrary to your will.

Thank you for those moments when you healed me and strengthened me.

Thank you for when you delivered me from things I didn’t know would harm me.

Thank you for not letting me have my way many times because of what you had in store for me.

Thank you for the favors I received and even the disappointments meant for my good.

I am here today only because you kept me in your faithfulness.

Please give me the grace to continue to trust you, even when things are rough, and thank you for the good ahead.

Thank you, Father.
