Morning Prayer for Today – Teach Me Your Truth

Sweet Holy Spirit,

You are so good to me. It is by Your working in me that I received eternal life. I acknowledge that I am Your work in progress, and You never give up on me.

Even when I fall short, You continue to shape me, mold me, and refine me into the person You have called me to be. Your love and patience are beyond my comprehension, yet I am so grateful for them.

You are My Helper, and You have not failed me. Time and again, when I have been weak, discouraged, or unsure of my next step, You have been there to strengthen me.

You are My Strength when I am weak, and with You, I know I am secure in Christ. When the storms of life rage around me, I find shelter in Your presence.

When doubts creep into my mind, You remind me of the truth in God’s Word. When I feel alone, You whisper that I am never truly by myself, for You are always with me, guiding me with wisdom and filling my heart with peace.

I ponder on Your word in 1 Corinthians 2:10-11:

For to us, God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.

For who among people knows the thoughts of a person except the Spirit of the person that is in him? So also the thoughts of God no one knows, except the Spirit of God.

Holy Spirit, I pray that You reveal all that The Father has prepared for me in Christ. Show me the richness of Your truth, the beauty of Your plans, and the depths of Your love.

I long to walk in the fullness of Your calling for my life. I do not want to settle for less than what You have intended for me. Illuminate my path so that I may walk with clarity and confidence, knowing that I am exactly where You need me to be.

I pray for a desire to stay with Your word and be filled with its understanding. Let my heart hunger for the scriptures, for the wisdom that only comes from knowing You.

When distractions try to pull me away, strengthen my resolve to seek You first. Let Your Word dwell in me richly, so that I may discern what is right and true. Teach me, Holy Spirit, and let me not only hear Your words but also live by them.

Please, let me know and live out the Father’s thoughts by Your strength in me. Align my heart with His heart, my will with His will. Transform my desires so that they reflect Your holiness.

I want to think like You, love like You, and act in accordance with Your divine purpose. Remove every trace of selfish ambition, pride, or fear that would hinder me from fully embracing the life You have designed for me.

I pray from Ephesians 3:16:

That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner self.

Lord, please keep me by Your truth from every spirit of falsehood and dishonesty in today’s world. There are many voices that seek to lead me astray, but I choose to listen only to Yours.

Guard my heart and mind so that I may remain steadfast in faith. Give me the discernment to recognize deception and the courage to stand for truth, even when it is difficult.

There is so much of You I am yet to know. Therefore, let me know the depths of the Father so that I may be filled with all the glory of Your revelation. Do not let me remain stagnant in my faith.

Draw me deeper, take me further, and fill me with a greater measure of Your presence. Let my life be a reflection of Your power and grace.

You have the final authority in my life, and with Your help, my heart is always open to know what Your will is for me. I surrender my plans, my dreams, and my ambitions to You.

Lead me, guide me, and direct my steps. I trust that Your way is always better, and Your plans are always perfect.
