Morning Prayer for Today – Satan, be gone!

Father,

Thank you for the blessing of witnessing the start of a new season, safe and sound on every side.

As I begin this new year, I refuse to give the devil any chance. I stand against his works in my life and family.

Your word says in Luke 10:19:

Behold, I have given you authority to walk on snakes and scorpions, and authority over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you. 

Today, I stand in the authority you’ve given me through Christ Jesus, and I command satan to be gone from my family and me.

Lord, let the cycle of conflict and disunity in my family be broken once and for all.
