Morning Prayer for Today – Protect My Heart

Great Redeemer,

Thank You because I know You are still working in me, bringing to reality all I am in Christ Jesus.

Your word admonishes in Proverbs 4:23:

Watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flows the springs of life.

Lord, I pray today that you will help me to watch over my heart. Let my heart be protected from the pollution of the enemy. 

I receive grace to diligently and constantly overcome the enemy in any way he tries to attack my heart and mind.

I declare that springs of life flow from my heart. Therefore, no pollution will abide in me.

Dear Lord, strengthen my spirit to filter my various experiences every day. Let me accept only those things that edify my spirit and glorify you.

Please let my heart be filled with Your words and thoughts concerning me.

Your word says in Proverbs 17:22:

A joyful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit dries up the bones.

Therefore, I declare that my heart is joyful at all times. The devil does not pollute my heart with bitterness, discouragement, or doubt.

I am always sensitive in my spirit against anything that takes my heart away from Christ.

My spirit will not be broken because the Comforter lives inside me. I am always alive in the spirit, growing and giving God glory, now and forever.

In Jesus’ name, I pray.
