Morning Prayer for Today – Prayer For The Grieving

God of all comfort,

I take this moment to pray for those around me and my brothers and sisters in Christ around the world.

Lord, I know you know that some days can be challenging, and we don’t know how to make it through.

You may hear us complain in anger, disappointment and pain. Not because we mean them but because we are grieving.

So, Lord, I pray you stay close by your children’s side and put the pieces of their broken hearts back together.

Show them how to keep their feet on the right path of destiny. Comfort and deliver each one through their seasons of grief. 

I have this confidence because you said Psalms 34:17-18:

The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles. 

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Father, You are the God of all comfort. Today, please keep your children’s hearts open to your Holy Spirit.

Bring your peace and love into our lives, and let us be reminded that you are always with us. 

Thank you because you will use every grief in our lives for good and lead us to a place of strength and victory.

In Jesus’ name, I pray.
