Morning Prayer for Today – Prayer For My Family

Almighty Father,

I pray for my family today.

Thank you for the tremendous blessing of being part of this family. I am grateful to you for my family’s spouses, siblings, inlaws, and sons and daughters.

Today I pray that every member of my family will walk in your holy name and that they will obey your word.

I am contemplating your word in Joshua 24:15:

But if it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve:

Whether the gods which your fathers served, which were beyond the Euphrates River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; 

But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

Lord, may your hand touch the hearts of all my family members to find your light and embrace your love in serving you.

I also pray for the miracle of restoration. Let your love knit all our hearts in unity where the enemy has driven the wedge of division between us.

May we eat the plentiful fruit of our labour, and may blessings and prosperity be ours.

Please cover my entire family with your peace today and let this peace rule in our hearts and homes. 

I shall not lose any family member to death, disease, or any attack of the devil on us.

This is my prayer today, and I receive it with faith in Jesus’ name.
