Morning Prayer for Today – Let Me See The Light

Heavenly Father,

Your word says in Psalm 68:19:

Blessed be the Lord, Who bears our burdens and carries us day by day, even the God Who is our salvation!

Indeed You have carried me daily, and I know You will not leave me today or any other day. I want to say thank You for bringing me this far.

Today, I pray according to your Word in Ephesians 1:17-18:

That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. 

I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.

Lord, I ask that you Illuminate my heart with Your light and let me know You as I should.

The Psalmist says in Psalm 119:130:

The unfolding of Your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.

Therefore, I ask that You let Your words unfold in my spirit and let me have light in me so I can know who I truly am in Christ.

Please cause Your light to shine through every darkness in me, so I will not stumble. I ask for grace to live as you want me to through your light that shines in me.
