Morning Prayer for Today – Let Me Know You More

Loving Father,

Thank you for drawing me close and loving me the way you do.

Every day, you show me new aspects of your grace and love. Your compassion is unending, and your faithfulness is always sure.

Lord, I am reading your word in Psalm 25:

Make me know Your ways, Lord; teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation;

For You I wait all the day. The Lord is good and upright; therefore He instructs sinners in the way.

He leads the humble in justice, and He teaches the humble His way.

I pray that you teach me more and more about you as I go through life every day.

Lord, teach me to read my Bible and pray when I need to. Make my heart hungry for you daily.

When I open the Bible, give me understanding by your Holy Spirit. Let the words come alive in my heart.

When I pray, let me enjoy your presence as it fills my heart, touching me with your loving power.

Father, I know this is also what you want, and I am persuaded that you have already started doing it in my life.

I pray the same for my children and those around me. 

Let them draw closer to you. Let them begin to see that your presence is the safest place.

And let your love beautify our lives and families more and more each day.

In Jesus’ name, I pray.
