Morning Prayer for Today – I Will Stand In Faith

Father,

When I believe and completely trust you, impossible situations in my life become possible.

Your Word says in Mark 9:23:

But Jesus said to him, “‘If You can?’ All things are possible for the one who believes.”

Lord, when you say a thing, you make sure to bring it to pass as long as I believe.

In the power of your word.

As I go through this year, I know many circumstances will arise in and around my life.

Yet in all of them, Lord, let me never stop standing in faith and completely trusting you.

Let me keep believing that your thoughts concerning me are good and not evil.

Let me find new strengths in weaknesses and hope in hopelessness.

Father, I will not trust solely in my abilities or connections because I know they can fail me.

Instead, I have decided to trust you with all my heart and hope in your daily promises.

You have said in Jeremiah 17:7-8:

Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord and whose trust is the Lord. 

For he will be like a tree planted by the water that extends its roots by a stream and does not fear when the heat comes;

But its leaves will be green, and it will not be anxious in a year of drought nor cease to yield fruit.

I declare this will be my best year yet, and great things will happen for me because my trust is in you, Lord.

Thank you for giving me the grace to keep standing in faith more and more.
