Morning Prayer for Today – I Will Proclaim Jesus

Loving Father,

I adore you. I give you the glory for all you are to me – Father, God, King, Friend, Provider, Protector, and so much more.

It is a great privilege to talk to you each time, and I always look forward to these moments.

Father, you keep drawing me deeper into your presence as I spend time with you.

Today, I ask that you help me to be a more vibrant witness.

I am reading through your words in Ephesians 1:15-23, which says:

Brothers and sisters:

Hearing of your faith in the Lord Jesus and of your love for all the holy ones, I do not cease giving thanks for you,

Remembering you in my prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation resulting in knowledge of him.

May the eyes of your hearts be enlightened, that you may know what is the hope that belongs to his call,

what are the riches of glory in his inheritance among the holy ones, and what is the surpassing greatness of his power for us who believe,

in accord with the exercise of his great might, which he worked in Christ, raising him from the dead and seating him at his right hand in the heavens,

far above every principality, authority, power, and dominion, and every name that is named

Not only in this age but also in the one to come.

And he put all things beneath his feet and gave him as head over all things to the Church, which is his Body, the fullness of the one who fills all things in every way.

Lord, you are using these words to remind me of the great blessing of salvation you gave me in Christ Jesus.

And so, I ask that you grant me the grace needed to take my own position as a witness in today’s world.

Let me be an extra voice echoing the message of the gospel, which my brothers and sisters preach everywhere.

Your word is also telling me in John 15:26-27:

‘When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who comes from the Father, he will testify on my behalf. You also are to testify because you have been with me from the beginning.

Lord, I know that I am not alone. You have given me your Holy Spirit, and I have everything I need with Him.

I surrender my life, resources, pride, circumstances, and time to you.

Use each of them to declare your greatness in my world, Lord.

In Jesus’ name, I pray.
