Morning Prayer for Today – I Recieve Courage

Heavenly Father,

It is fitting to thank You and praise Your name, O Most High. I will proclaim your loyal love every day.

Your Word says in 2Timothy 1:7: 

For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline.

Lord, I pray you grant me Your inexhaustible winning courage as I go through my day.

When I am tempted to give up, please help me keep going, believing, and pushing positively. 

Lord, in the face of those complex challenges that come with each day, those that trouble me, I ask for your sufficient grace and joy to fill me up even if things don’t go my way.

Please, give me the courage to do all you tell me to do so I can succeed.

Lord, fill my heart with the courage to make and stand on those godly decisions that will take my life to the next level. 

Today I believe in your Word that even though I walk through the deep, sunless valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me.

I declare that it is a great day.

In Jesus’ name, I pray.
