Morning Prayer for Today – I Receive It

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for sending Your Son to die on the Cross to save me. And as such, taking my place and my curse.

The Lord Jesus took my nakedness and shame and clothed me with His robe of righteousness through His death on the Cross. 

Today, through faith in Jesus’ name and by accepting the sacrifice He made, I receive everything that His sacrifice at Calvary represents in my life.

I release myself from the crushing burden of the guilt of sin and the past. I am forgiven and justified by faith. 

Your word says in Romans 5:1-2:

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Through whom we also have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we celebrate in hope of the glory of God.

I confess that I have peace with God through Christ, who died to deliver me from the kingdom of darkness. 

I declare that sicknesses, shame, sin, and their torment no longer reign over me because Jesus died to save me from their dominion.

I declare that I have been translated into the Kingdom of God, the Kingdom of light filled with joy and peace. Now I have peace and joy in God.

Just as Jesus fully paid my debt of sin and suffering. I let go of past hurt, pain, and problems. They don’t belong on my back, and I will not carry them anymore.

Jesus died for me to be free and have life abundantly. Therefore, I receive abundant life and freedom from every opposition holding me bound. 

I take my healing in the Blood of Jesus. I claim my deliverance from every bondage. And I receive strength over weaknesses.

Thank you for the gift of redemption through Jesus Christ for me, Lord. I claim everything His sacrifice represents in my life now.
