Morning Prayer for Today – I Need Your Presence

Dear Holy Spirit,

Thank you for always being with me and for the promise that you will never leave or forsake me.

I am contemplating Psalms 97:5:

The mountains melted like wax at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

Lord, you are the presence of God the Father with me. And I know that the more of you I have, the more glory I will see in my life.

In Your presence, Lord, all troubles and oppositions that may seem difficult or impossible will melt away.

Therefore, I confess my need of you, Holy Spirit. I ask that You fill me more and more today.

Let me walk in the profound experience of your presence in my life so that those around me can see your hand at work in me.

Separate me from anything or place where you are not welcome or glorified.

Please, protect me from my careless thoughts, words, and actions. And keep me from being distracted by the number of problems surrounding me.

Let me learn to focus on the joy that comes with your presence because your word says where you are, there is fullness of joy.

Lord, let nothing separate me from You today. Teach me to choose only your way so that each step leads me closer to the Father’s ultimate goal for my life.

In Jesus’ name, I pray.
