Morning Prayer for Today – I Am Who You Say I Am

Loving Father,

I thank you for the life and identity you have given me. I am grateful for everything your word says about me.

Thank you for giving me something to believe in from your word.

Your word says in 1Peter 2:9:

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession. So that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

Father, life’s experiences and situations always try to give everyone an identity, and many people are defined by it. 

Please, Lord, let me choose to accept and only believe what you say about me.

I choose to believe that I am your chosen child. I am royalty, and I am holy unto You. Everywhere I go, my life proclaims your excellency.

Lord Jesus, although there are many voices in the world, I choose to listen to only your voice.

Let my ears only hear what you’ve said, and let my heart only believe it.

No matter what I face daily, Lord, I believe I am who you say I am.

I am a success and not a failure. I am a winner and not a loser.

I am daily becoming the best partner for my spouse and a wonderful parent to my children.

Holy Spirit, please don’t let me forget that God loves and accepts me no matter what I face.

Thank you for making me a winner every day.
