Morning Prayer for Today –  I Am Not Ashamed

Dear Father,

Your name is a strong tower. No one runs to you in trust, and it ends in shame.

I have seen your glory and power working in my life. Therefore, my faith is strengthened daily.

Lord, when I step out daily, I ask for the boldness to boast in your love for me to everyone I meet.

Help me proudly tell everyone about how dependable you are. You do not lie, and you cannot fail.

Lord, Jesus, I am most grateful for the gift of your sacrifice for my salvation. Where would I be if you had not come for me?

Please, give me the boldness to stand unashamed of my faith. Replace my fears with confidence in your truth, Jesus.

Your word says in Psalms 27:

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? 

For though an army may encamp against me, my heart shall not fear,

Though war may rise against me, in this will I be confident

In times of trouble, he shall hide me in his pavilion. In the secret place of his tabernacle, He shall hide me.

He shall set me high upon the rock. And now my head shall be lifted above my enemies all around me.

Lord Jesus, I have colleagues, neighbors, family members, and friends who have yet to know you personally.

Help me talk boldly about you every chance I get so I can contribute to spreading the gospel.

In Jesus’ name, I pray.
