O Lord,
I call upon Your holy name, and at the break of dawn, I join the mighty chorus that unceasingly sings to Your glory.
You are the God of the universe and the Lord of my life. I worship and adore You, for You are worthy of all glory. In the humility of my heart, I join today the mighty chorus of angels, who ceaselessly cry out to Your glory and proclaim Your immeasurable holiness.
“And they were calling to one another: ‘Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory.'” (Isaiah 6:3)
Your holiness overwhelms me, and yet it draws me closer. Lord, before You I confess my frailty and helplessness.
There are days when I feel lost, when worries overwhelm me, and the darkness seems stronger than the light. In these moments of anguish and uncertainty, my spirit turns to You with a single, simple plea.
“Then I called on the name of the LORD: ‘O LORD, save my soul!'” (Psalm 116:4)
And You, my God, in Your infinite mercy, hear my cry. Your Word gives me unshakeable hope and the promise that calling upon Your name is not in vain. This promise is the anchor of my soul.
“And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved. For on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, as the LORD has said, and among the survivors shall be those whom the LORD calls.” (Joel 2:32)
Lord, I have prepared a place for You in my heart. I have dug a well, for I thirst for Your living water, which alone can quench the deepest longing of my soul. I thirst for the truth, peace, and love that the world cannot give. Therefore, I come to You and, with all my heart, I accept Your gracious invitation.
“‘If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink.'” (John 7:37)
Thank You, Jesus, for this invitation. I come and I drink. Your promise fills me with peace, for I know that You are not just a stream, but the Source itself. In You is the fullness of everything I need for life and for eternity.
“For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light.” (Psalm 36:9)
I desire to walk in Your light today, O Lord. I pray that my life may not be merely a silent prayer, but also a resounding witness to Your goodness and faithfulness. Give me the courage to live out my faith this day.
“Give thanks to the LORD, call upon his name; make known his deeds among the peoples!” (1 Chronicles 16:8)
Therefore, may all that I do, think, and say today give thanks to You. May my life call upon Your name and proclaim Your mighty deeds to all whom I shall meet. Bless this day and guide me in Your paths.
Amen.
