Morning Prayer for Today – Walk With Me, Lord

Holy Spirit,

Sometimes life can feel like walking through the valley of the shadow of death. Everything makes sense one day, and the next, nothing is anymore.

Amid it all, help me remember that I am not alone and you are always with me. Your eyes watch over me, and your strong arms cover me.

Even when I cannot see you, you ensure I survive each day, no matter how chaotic it seems.

Your word says in Exodus 33:14:

And He said, “My presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest.”

I stand in this promise from your word, and will not fear what I see, hear or feel around me.

Lord, as I live each day, help me to walk with you, to know you more, and to depend on your strength.

Please, walk with me wherever I go, teach me all I need to know, and give me the strength to win all my battles.

As I use the opportunities you give me to share the love of Christ with those around me, please, Lord, be with me and confirm your word through me.

I am reading your word in Mark 16:20:

And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them, and confirmed the word by the signs that followed.

Let those around me see your light and strength, and let your power in my life bring healing, hope, and deliverance to those who need it.
