Dear Lord,
Your word says in Psalm 3:5:
I lay down and slept; I awoke, for the Lord sustains me.
I am so grateful that you keep sustaining me from evil, Lord. Things may not always go as planned, but you always show up for me with something better.
Lord, I receive the grace to seek and know you more and more each day as you reveal yourself to me.
You said in Psalm 32:8:
I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will advise you with My eye upon you.
As promised in Your Word, Lord, please teach me your ways. Let me see things the way You see them. Let me grow in my understanding of heavenly things.
Let your knowledge fill me so much that I begin to act more and more like Christ every day and everywhere and in all situations.
I am reading your word in Psalm 103:7:
He made known His ways to Moses, His deeds to the sons of Israel.
Lord, I do not only want to see Your good works in my life; I want to know what Your heart desires and commit myself to live them out by Your grace.
This is my sincere desire, Lord, and I know you have heard me today.
In Jesus’ name, I pray.
Amen.
