Dear Father,
Thank you for another beautiful day and for every blessing today. I am thankful for every good thing I have in Christ. I know that today is another day to enjoy it.
Thank You for the many things that have come my way. You are using them to shape my life and to fulfill Your purpose concerning me.
I acknowledge that a lot of times, I get overwhelmed by the situations around me. I often forget Your promises to me and allow my heart to fail when challenges come.
Today, I remember Your Word in Isaiah 43:1-2:
But now, this is what the Lord says— he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel:
“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.
This is a reminder, Lord, that you’ll always be with me no matter what I face. I cannot be destroyed by anything the enemy throws at me.
I ask, Lord, that You’ll always cause me to remember this.
When I go through trials, let me be reminded that my victory is not the absence of storms but Your presence and peace amid every storm.
I will say, like the Psalmist in Psalms 61:2:
From the end of the earth I call to You when my heart is faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
Strengthen my heart, and cause me to walk in the path You have prepared for me.
This I ask in Jesus’ name.
Amen.
