Morning Prayer for Today – Strengthen My Faith

Heavenly Father, 

You are so good to me. Your love, wisdom, and kindness to me and my family are excellent.

I want to let you know that I am most grateful to you for everything you do for me daily.

Father, I pray that you strengthen my sense of security in you.

I am reading what you said in Ephesians 1:11-14:

Brothers and sisters:

In Christ we were also chosen, destined in accord with the purpose of the One

who accomplishes all things according to the intention of his will,

So that we might exist for the praise of his glory, we who first hoped in Christ.

In him you also, who have heard the word of truth, the Gospel of your salvation, and have believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,

which is the first installment of our inheritance toward redemption as God’s possession, to the praise of his glory.

Lord, I know you have given me the assurance of salvation through your Holy Spirit.

I admit there are times when the voices of doubt, fear, and unworthiness make me doubt you.

However, today, I am asking that you strengthen my confidence in faith and give me the boldness to declare that I am yours anywhere.

You said in Psalms 33:1-2, 4-5, 12-13:

Rejoice in the Lord, O you righteous. Praise befits the upright.

Praise the Lord with the lyre; make melody to him with the harp of ten strings. For the word of the Lord is upright, and all his work is done in faithfulness.

He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the steadfast love of the Lord.

Happy is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage.

The Lord looks down from heaven; he sees all humankind.

I reject the spirit of fear or doubt. I refuse to listen to the devil’s lies that tell me I am not good enough to be saved in Christ.

Lord, I rejoice confidently in you and am at peace, knowing that you are with me.

The Bible says in Psalms 33:22:

May your kindness, LORD, be upon us; who have put our hope in you.

Therefore, I ask that your favor, kindness, peace, and mercy follow me every way I turn.

And you will keep me from falling away from the faith.

I love and trust you, Lord.
