Morning Prayer for Today – Prayer For Wisdom

Lord Jesus,

I give you thanks and praise for the gift of life.

With you, I wake up with hope and peace, knowing that you are always on my side and in control.

Lord, you embody God’s wisdom and live inside of me.

Your word has said in Colossians 2:2-3:

That their hearts may be comforted, being knit together in love, and receive all the riches and assurance of full understanding, and knowledge of the mystery of God, 

Both of the Father and of Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Lord, I often only focus on the present and the past, but You alone know and have the power to organise my future. 

I do not face life’s challenges because I have a clear sense of immediate solutions. I do because I trust you will guide and help me overcome them.

Your word says in Proverbs 2:6:

For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.

Therefore, today I am presenting my present decisions and choices before you. I ask for insight to manage the thoughts and actions that affect my life’s crucial aspects.

Lord Jesus, fill me with your wisdom today. Help me plan my path, and please guide me as I make the crucial decisions affecting me and those around me.

Let me make the wise financial, relationship, and other life decisions, and not choices influenced by my emotions so that I can reach the right results.

Teach me to listen and to pay attention to the details you place around me so I can know what to do at the right time and place.

In Your name, I pray.
