Morning Prayer for Today – Made for Wonders

Dear Lord, 

Through the sacrifice of your Son, Jesus, you saved me and made me a new creation through whom you shine your light on the world.

I am grateful for how you carry me daily from glory to glory by your mighty power.

Your word says in Isaiah 8:17-18:

And I will wait for the Lord who is hiding His face from the house of Jacob; I will wait eagerly for Him.

Behold, I and the children whom the Lord has given me are for signs and wonders in Israel from the Lord of armies, who dwells on Mount Zion.

Father, so much darkness is spreading across the world, and so many people can no longer tell what is right or wrong.

But I believe this is one of the reasons you have placed me on earth. So, I ask for the grace to declare your wondrous works before all men.

Use my lips to tell of your great mercy, and let my feet be swift to reach out to those in need.

Lord, anoint my hands so that when I pray for others, they will receive your touch over their lives and situations.

Let my life amaze everyone around me. Let them see how you can beautify the life of anyone who trusts you.

Let them know that you are the hope of the hopeless, strength for the weak and a miracle worker just by looking at me.

This is what you created for me. Thank you for making it my reality.
