Lord Jesus,
I thank you that you have always been gracious to me.
Your word says in Proverbs 4:18:
But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn that shines brighter and brighter until the full day.
You also said in Matthew 5:14-16:
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden;
Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.
Your light must shine before people in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
Lord, today I pray that you fill me with your light; I receive power and authority as a righteous believer to shine brighter than ever as I face the day.
Please, shine your divine light of wisdom and favour on my path today. Let your light lead me in the right direction until I reach my goals.
Let me bring light everywhere I go and inspire everyone around me. Put the right words in my mouth to build others up and give them hope.
Lord, let me be a source of blessing to those going through difficult times around me.
Thank you for always being my light in the dark. May your light and love blaze in me and for me forever.
