Morning Prayer for Today – Let There Be Healing

Dear Lord Jesus,

I thank you for giving me the blessing of witnessing and celebrating this season with everyone around me, especially my family.

This season reminds me of the Father’s love and the miracle of hope and healing your birth brought into the world.

Lord, I pray that as we celebrate this holy season, let my family and I experience this miracle of hope and healing.

I pray especially for the broken relationships in my life and family. Please, let the joy and love of this season bring complete healing.

I am standing upon your word in Jeremiah 30:17-19:

For I will restore you to health and I will heal you of your wounds,’ declares the Lord,

‘Because they have called you an outcast, saying: “It is Zion; no one cares for her.”’ 

“This is what the Lord says: ‘Behold, I will restore the fortunes of the tents of Jacob and have compassion on his dwellings; 

And the city will be rebuilt on its ruins, and the palace will stand on its rightful place. 

From them will come a song of thanksgiving and the voices of those who celebrate; 

And I will multiply them and they will not decrease; I will honor them and they will not be insignificant.

Lord, I receive these words over my life and my family.

Let there be forgiveness where bitterness and grudge have reigned. Let lost affections be restored.

Please cause conflicts to end, and let us see each other through the eyes of love.

Thank you for answering my prayer today.
