Morning Prayer for Today – Let Me Walk In Freedom

Great God,

Thank You for my life and for the salvation of my soul. My heart is filled with joy each time I think of all I have through the sacrifice of Jesus.

I am a better person because of the gift of your Son, Jesus. Thank you for setting me free from the power of sin, sickness and satan through Christ’s redemption work.

Father, I sometimes forget I have been set free in Christ. I allow my feelings and the circumstances surrounding me to make me doubt my God-given liberty in Christ.

But your word reminds me today in John 8:38:

So if the Son sets you free, you really will be free.

I find my assurance in these words, Lord. I repent and surrender to your work of perfection until I see myself the way you see me.

Your word also says in Galatians 5:1:

It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore, keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.

Please, Lord, help me to walk in your freedom today and always. Let me hold on to Your Word that declares my liberty until it is manifested in my life.

I am no longer a captive because I have been set free by Christ. I live each day in this truth.

In Jesus’ name, I declare.
