Morning Prayer for Today – Let Me Spread Peace

God of truth and from whom all good things come.

Your love, Lord, is great. There is no limit to it. Your faithfulness reaches the skies, just as your word says.

I am contemplating your word in Psalm 65:5-7:

By awesome deeds You answer us in righteousness, God of our salvation, you who are the trust of all the ends of the earth and the farthest sea; 

Who establishes the mountains by His strength, Who is encircled with might; Who stills the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, and the turmoil of the nations.

Lord, may I always remember to give myself and spend time with you daily before I face the day’s activities.

You are indeed my Father, both in heaven and on earth. Please fill my life with harmony and calmness now and always.

As I spend time with you, please show me how to deal with an open and humble heart, especially towards others.

Please help me calmly listen while I accomplish my tasks each day, so I can understand and be helpful to everyone you’ve sent my way. 

Let those around me today sense and experience your peace as it flows through me.

Thank You for giving me Your peace which passes all understanding.

In Jesus’ name, I pray.
