Morning Prayer for Today – Let Me Never Forget

Dearest Father,

I want to use this moment to acknowledge your faithfulness in my life. You have never changed or stopped loving and taking care of me.

When life seems overwhelming and faith unsteady, Lord, please let me never forget that you are my faithful and ever-loving Father.

Let me remember the words of Lamentations 3:20-23:

My soul certainly remembers and is bent over within me. I recall this to my mind, therefore I wait.

The Lord’s acts of mercy indeed do not end, for His compassions do not fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.

Lord, when troubles, anxieties, and unfavourable circumstances surround me, please help me remember and be encouraged by your unfailing mercy.

Your word says in Psalms 27:13:

I would have lost heart unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

Let this remembrance strengthen my faith and help me hold on to your promise that you will make everything turn out great for me.

I need you every day, Lord. Please help me stand when my strength fails. Help me see when darkness surrounds me. And help me praise when my heart is overwhelmed.

I surrender my cares today over to You. I trust You and believe in Your very best.

In Jesus’ name, I pray.
