Morning Prayer for Today – Let Me Be Courageous

Heavenly Father, 

Thank you for Your strength and power in my life that has kept me going and winning.

Lord, when my fears try to keep me from stepping into the good things you place before me, I can trust you to strengthen and make me courageous.

Your word says in Deuteronomy 31:6:

Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or in dread of them, for the Lord your God is the One who is going with you. He will not desert you or abandon you.”

Lord, I commit the deepest fears in my heart into your hands. Those fears keep me from taking crucial steps in life, and they keep me down. 

Today, I am praying for you to make my heart strong and courageous to make those critical decisions that will improve my life and bless those around me.

Do not let the fear of failing or not being understood keep me from taking those steps you’ve laid in my heart.

Let your Spirit go with me to comfort and perfect each step with excellent results to confirm that you are with me.

Lord, You promise to always be here with me. Therefore, I shall not fear anything, even if I walk through the valley of the shadow of death.

I receive your peace and a courageous heart today and continually, Lord.

I will not fear or worry about the outcomes because I know that everything works together for my good because I love you, and I’m called by your purpose.

I love and trust you, Lord.

In Jesus’ name, I pray.
