Morning Prayer for Today – Asking For A Favour

Father,

I receive this day as a gift from you, filled with all the good things I need to move forward.

As I do my business today, I pray that your goodness and mercy be my companions.

I am contemplating your word in Genesis 39:21:

But the Lord was with Joseph and extended kindness to him, and gave him favor in the sight of the warden of the prison.

Lord, please, let me see your presence with me today as it was with Joseph. 

In whatever engagement or meeting I have to be in today, let your Spirit be with me and let me find favour.

No matter how difficult any individual may be, when they meet me, let your Spirit in me minister to them for my advantage.

When I ask for help, let helpers be rightly positioned to offer me all the support I need at the right time.

I declare your words in Psalms 23:6:

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

I have received this over my life and my loved ones. Please let this be our portion today and always, Father.

In Jesus’ name, I pray.
