Morning Prayer – Increase My Strength

Holy Spirit,

Today, as I pray with open hands and heart, I ask for your strength.

I only sometimes feel strong. Instead, I often feel weary because of how overwhelming life sometimes gets.

When I feel demotivated, discouraged, and hopeless, I need your touch to get back on track and revived.

I am contemplating your word in Ezekiel 3:12:

Then the Spirit lifted me up, and I heard a great rumbling sound behind me: “Blessed be the glory of the Lord from His place!”

Lord, I cannot overcome everything life throws at me by my own strength. However, when you strengthen me, I can overcome them all.

Please, Lord, as I step out each day, increase my strength and cause me to walk at my best by your ability.

Your word says in Philippians 4:13:

I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.

Holy Spirit, let me not quit or compromise the faith because of one challenge or the other.

Let me also not remain in whatever got my back on the ground before now. Instead, let me rise in your strength against all odds.

I step out in faith today and face everything in my way. I am convinced that I overcome them by your power, Lord.

In Jesus’ name, I pray.

Amen.
