Morning Prayer for Today – I Will Not Worry

Faithful Father,

You have made provision for all of Your creation, and for this, I know there is sufficient provision for me, Your own child.

I am reading your words in Matthew 6:31-32:

Do not worry then, saying, ‘What are we to eat?’ or ‘What are we to drink?’ or ‘What are we to wear for clothing?’ 

For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.

Thank You, Father, because You know all that I need and can supply all.

You take care of the birds of the air, the animals in the field. I know that You will take care of me. Therefore, I will not worry about tomorrow.

I take solace in Your word in Philippians 4:19:

And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. 

I am a child of God. The Lord is my Shepherd. I have riches in Christ Jesus. I have all I need.

My tomorrow is taken care of because the One who made the heavens and the earth is my Father.

Lord, I commit my needs into your hands, and I am confident I have supplies pouring in at the right time.
