Heavenly Father,
Your word says in Matthew 7:7-8:
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.”
It also says in 1Peter 5:8:
Be sober and alert. Your enemy the devil, like a roaring lion, is on the prowl looking for someone to devour.
Father, today, I ask that You keep my feet from stumbling into the traps of the enemy.
I pray that you keep my mind from wandering into distractions that could rob me of the most important things you have designed for me today.
Please, help me to look straight ahead and fix my eyes on the glories ahead of me.
Lord, you did not create me to live in or be stuck in distractions. You created me to live an intentional and victorious life.
I am confident that I have overcome the world and its distractions by your power, even as Christ overcame.
Lord, fill me with the wonders of your love, the freedom of your Spirit, and the joy of knowing you today and forever.
In Jesus’ name, I pray.
