Morning Prayer for Today – I Trust Your Will

Lord Almighty,

Today is a new day, another chance at a fresh start.

Yesterday is gone, and with it, any regrets, mistakes, or failures I experienced. It’s a good day to be glad and give thanks, and I do, Lord. 

Your word says in Jeremiah 29:11-13:

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 

Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Lord, I may not know what will happen today and how much I’ll get done, but I trust your word and will over my life to prevail.

Lord, I believe you are preparing the best for me today. When troubles arise, I will stand on your word, which promises that everything works for my good. 

Thank you for today, a new opportunity to love, give, and be all you want me to be. I trust your will, Lord, and declare it prospers in my life.

In Jesus’ name, I pray.
