Father,
I am yours. Through the sacrifice of Jesus, you bought me and made me your temple. I offer you my body as a living sacrifice in worship today.
I am reading your word in Jeremiah 10:23:
I know, Lord, that a person’s way is not in himself, nor is it in a person who walks to direct his steps.
Lord, I confess that I don’t have the understanding or power to direct my steps right.
Please, help me look to you as my Master, Teacher, Source, and everything. Let me put your first in all things, good or bad.
Father, I ask for your daily grace to follow your Son, Jesus Christ, my Lord, and to bear my cross in good faith, knowing that you love and care about me.
I acknowledge Jesus’ words in Luke 9:23-24:
And He was saying to them all, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me.
For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake, this is the one who will save it.
Let me not hold anything from you, including my very life. Please give me the daily grace to hand over my needs and myself to you for the best.
Please, open my eyes to see those areas where I am holding back from you, and empower me to let go so you can take over.
Everything becomes beautiful in your hands, so take my life and circumstances, and beautify it, Lord.
Thank you for giving my life meaning every day. I worship you for your love and power in my life, Lord.
In Jesus’ name, I pray.
Amen.
