Morning Prayer for Today – I Pray For The Unsaved

Father God, thank you for the blessing of life each day.

I join the host of angels to say, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty.”

You are so faithful and kind, Lord, and there is no limit to your love. With you, I am safe and satisfied.

Lord, I ask for the grace and the heart to pray for my brothers and sisters, friends, and families across the world who are yet to know you.

I see the glorious blessing of being a child of God when I read Ephesians 1:1-10:

Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, to the saints who are in Ephesus and are faithful in Christ Jesus

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, 

just as he chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless before him in love. 

He destined us for adoption as his children through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of his will, 

to the praise of his glorious grace that he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace that he lavished on us. 

With all wisdom and insight he has made known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure that he set forth in Christ, 

as a plan for the fullness of time, to gather up all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.

Father, I can testify that nothing in this world can compare to what I have received in Jesus Christ.

But there are still many out there who are yet to experience this. Some are mad at you for one reason or the other.

Many of them have never heard about Jesus. While some others chosen to believe something else.

Father, no matter the category, I pray that each one of them will experience you as their Lord and Savior.

The Bible says in John 14:6:

Jesus said to him, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

So, Father, I pray they will realize there is no other way apart from Jesus and no hope apart from you.

Lord, I earnestly desire this. I believe more and more people will come to Jesus as you demonstrate your glory before everyone.

I can see this in Psalm 98:1-6:

O sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done marvelous things. His right hand and his holy arm have gotten him victory.

The Lord has made known his victory; he has revealed his vindication in the sight of the nations.

He has remembered his steadfast love and faithfulness to the house of Israel. All the ends of the earth have seen the victory of our God.

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth; break forth into joyous song and sing praises.

Sing praises to the Lord with the lyre, with the lyre and the sound of melody.

With trumpets and the sound of the horn make a joyful noise before the King, the Lord.

Let the grip of sin, spiritual blindness, stubbornness, guilt, and pride be loosed off each one, Lord.

And let them be a part of your beautiful family, enjoying all you have in store for those who love you.

This I pray, in Jesus’ name.
