Morning Prayer for Today – I Can Count On You

Heavenly Father,

Your goodness to everyone who belongs to you knows no bounds. You are always on our side, blessing and strengthening us.

I am glad I can count on your faithfulness to me as your child every day.

Lord, you are saying in Ps 37:

Trust in the Lord and do good; live in the land and cultivate faithfulness.

Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.

The Lord knows the days of the blameless, and their inheritance will be forever.

The Lord establishes the steps of a man, and He delights in his way. Turn from evil and do good so that you will dwell forever.

The righteous will inherit the land and dwell in it forever.

Father, you are my God and my trust. I am who I am today because I delight in your ways.

And so, Lord, standing on your word, I ask that you order my steps rightly as I go about my business and other activities.

Give me the desires of my heart because I delight in you, and make my life a living evidence of your faithfulness.

You always care for those who love and serve you. So I believe you will take care of me today and always.

Father, thank you for hearing and answering my prayers.

In Jesus’ name, I pray.
