Morning Prayer for Today – Bring Peace Into My Home

Lord Jesus,

Every storm calms down before you because you are the Prince of Peace and the Rose of Sharon.

I come before you today to ask for your intervention in my family and our relationships.

I am contemplating your word in Isaiah 32:18:

Then my people will live in a peaceful settlement, in secure dwellings, and in undisturbed resting places;

Lord, I believe in my heart that this verse applies to family situations as it does over territories.

And I am making this prayer because my family needs this to be our reality too.

Your word has also clearly stated that you are the Prince of Peace, so Lord, please pour out your peace into my family.

Let the walls of grievances, bitterness, unforgiveness, fear, and separation be broken down completely.

Please, Jesus, let your love fill the heart of each member of my family, from the oldest down to the youngest.

Let us speak to each other peaceably and be there for each other in times of need the way we are supposed to.

I pray for reconciliation over any conflict and restoration of our familial connections as it is meant to be.

I know you care about me and what matters to me, and I am confident you will answer this prayer, Lord.

So, I rest in this assurance, knowing you have heard me today.

In your great name, I pray.
