Morning Prayer for Today – A Prayer For My Family

Gracious Father,

I worship your majesty. Thank you for giving me a family of amazing and loving souls.

Thank you for my partner and for our wonderful children too. I am grateful for the joy in my home as a family representing heaven on earth.

Lord, I am contemplating your word in Psalms 128:

Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in His ways.

Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house, your children like olive plants around your table.

Behold, for so shall a man who fears the Lord be blessed. Indeed, may you see your children’s children. Peace be upon Israel!

So, Father, because I am your child and one who loves and fears you, I know that my family and I are already blessed in you.

Therefore, I speak your blessing of peace over members of my home. I also pray that each family member will know and love you personally.

I declare unity in my family. My family overcomes every conflict, and we work together as one.

I command conflicts and dividing crises to be far from my family.

Our children will grow up healthy and do great things in life. They will neither fall among bad company nor into the evil traps of their day.

Please, Lord, protect us from wicked and unreasonable individuals seeking to cause harm to us and our children.

Let your blessings and provisions over my family never cease.

In Jesus’s mighty name, I pray.
