My Father and King,
You see my heart and know my every thought. You know when negative and defeated thoughts attack my mind.
You made us for social interaction with each other and have placed a wonderful soul on earth for each of us to spend our lives with.
Lord, my relationships have not turned out the way I planned and believed they will, and I am left with a broken and scarred heart.
When I meet someone new and think this is it, everything crumbles to pieces again and again.
Father, please come to my aid. Heal my broken heart and make me whole for the beautiful life you’ve prepared for me.
You said in Psalms 147:2-3:
The Lord builds up Jerusalem; he gathers the outcasts of Israel. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
Father, I confess that my judgments and choices are not always the best, and I allow trivial things to hurt my relationships.
But now, Lord, I am broken and need your help. I surrender my choices to you to guide them henceforth.
Others may have told me I’m not good enough, and recent events are trying to prove them right, but I know it’s a lie.
Father, I feel myself giving up on having a happy relationship with the person you have for me, even though you promised it.
Please, heal me from the traumas. Help me move away from the past hurts and believe you for the best in front of me.
In Jesus’ name, I pray.
