Lord Jesus,
Even before the day has fully awakened, You are already at work. Your activity never ceases; Your care for me never sleeps.
“But Jesus answered them, ‘My Father is working until now, and I am working.'” (John 5:17)
Your work, Lord, is a perfect reflection of the Father’s work. In You, His heart, His love, and His power are revealed. You are not merely a prophet or a teacher; You are God made visible.
You and the Father are One
When I look at You, I see the Father. In Your words, I hear His voice. In Your actions, I recognize His will. You are the radiance of His glory, the exact imprint of His nature, the living image of the invisible God.
“He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power.” (Hebrews 1:3)
“Whoever has seen me has seen the Father.” (John 14:9)
“I and the Father are one.” (John 10:30)
What an incredible truth! Because You are one with the Father, You also possess His authority over life and death. You are the one who calls the dead from their graves and restores them to life.
Your Voice Awakens the Dead
Lord, so often I feel spiritually dead, trapped in routine, listlessness, and sin. But I believe that Your voice reaches even into these graves of mine. Your Word has the power to resurrect me.
“For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom he will.” (John 5:21)
Please, breathe life into me again today. Speak into the silence of my heart and call me into new life. I desire to truly believe Your words and pass from death into the life You promise me. Make all things new within me, Lord.
Your judgment is not human; it is not biased. Your judgment is just because You do not seek Your own will, but in perfect devotion, You fulfill the will of the Father.
“I can do nothing on my own. As I hear, I judge, and my judgment is just, because I seek not my own will but the will of him who sent me.” (John 5:30)
Lord, teach me this posture. Help me not to seek my own will, but to seek and accept the will of the Father in everything. Yes, Lord, I truly want to follow You, for You are the only Way.
“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'” (John 14:6)
Thank You for this morning and for Your Word, which is living and true. Lead me today along Your path.
Amen.
AMEN!!!
