Morning Prayer for Today – Show Them The Way 

Merciful God,

Thank You for Your mercies that prevail over judgement in my life and those around me.

I am reading Lamentations 3:22:

I recall this to my mind, therefore I wait. The Lord’s acts of mercy indeed do not end, for His compassions do not fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.

You have given us Your Son, Jesus Christ, so we can obtain mercy and be delivered from eternal judgement on sin.

Today, I pray for my family members, friends and loved ones who may have lost their way and those who have never encountered your love.

Lord, please open the eyes of their hearts and let them see your love and passion. Let your love breakthrough where they need it most and bring life there.

Let the sacrifice and the outstretched arm of Christ Jesus become real to them. Let them know you love them and want them the way they are.

You alone can make our lives have meaning. Therefore, Lord, I commit them into your hands. Let them not miss your call on their lives by rejecting you.

Your word says in 2Peter 3:9:

The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not willing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance.

Lord, please help the helpless and strengthen the weak to turn to you. Revive the faith of those who have given up already and restore them.

Please show them the way, Lord, so that together we will live in Your presence all the days of our lives. Fulfilling your purposes for us.

I ask this in Jesus’ name.
