Olympian Adam Peaty and Holly Ramsay Announce Engagement with Bible Verses

Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty, 29, and Holly Ramsay, 24, the daughter of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, are officially engaged. The couple took to social media to share their joy, accompanied by heartfelt Bible verses to mark the special occasion.

Adam, known for his remarkable swimming career and appearance on Strictly Come Dancing, proposed to Holly, describing himself as “the luckiest man on earth.”

He expressed his admiration for his future wife on Instagram, writing, “You fill my heart to the brim and give my soul peace.” Reflecting on their relationship, he praised Holly for standing by him through his darkest and happiest moments.

Peaty's post also touched on his faith. He quoted Matthew 19:6, emphasizing the unity of marriage: “So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, let no one separate.”

Holly, a digital creator, shared her excitement, calling Adam her “best friend.” She expressed her overwhelming happiness, saying, “I cannot describe how I am feeling right now. Everything is better with you.” Holly included a verse from 1 Corinthians 13:13: “And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.”

Gordon Ramsay celebrated the engagement, commenting, “We’re over the moon… welcome to the family, @adam_peaty.” Peaty also revealed he spent ten months crafting a custom yellow diamond ring for his bride-to-be.
