Israeli Families Still Seeking Release of Hostages

Families in Israel are praying for the release of hostages as the war with Hamas continues. Liran Berman, whose twin brothers are still held captive by Hamas, describes the emotional turmoil they are going through.

There are currently 134 hostages being held by Hamas, with families urging Qatari leaders to intervene for their release. Simona Steinbreacher’s daughter was also taken by Hamas, leading to a desperate plea for her safe return.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is under pressure to secure a deal for the hostages’ release. Kibbutz Kfar Aza residents are calling on the Swiss Red Cross for more diplomatic pressure on Hamas. Negotiations have taken place for a ceasefire in exchange for the release of hostages, but an agreement has yet to be reached.
