The Finnish Supreme Court has agreed to hear a case against Dr. Päivi Räsänen, a Christian lawmaker charged with hate speech for expressing her views on homosexuality.
Räsänen, who was acquitted twice before, faces possible fines and a ban on her pamphlet. She remains committed to defending freedom of speech and religion.
The prosecutor’s appeal to the Supreme Court follows years of legal battles. Refusing to be silenced, Räsänen is prepared to take her case to the European Court of Human Rights if necessary.
