“There’s an Uprising Among Young People for Christ”: Winter Jam Evangelist Declares

Evangelist Zane Black, a prominent figure at the Winter Jam concert tour, has noticed a remarkable shift among young attendees. Touring 39 cities, Black has observed a rising enthusiasm for Christianity. “There’s a stirring, an uprising,” he states, highlighting the palpable excitement for faith that surpasses worldly offerings.

At the concerts, Black presented the gospel, witnessing around 34,500 first-time professions of faith. Remarkably, even sold-out shows couldn't dampen the spirit, as young people gathered outside venues, worshipping into the night with artists like CAIN performing acoustic sets.

The pandemic, Black believes, has unveiled a deep spiritual hunger. “The Gospel has become that much more beautiful,” he notes, as many seek solace and hope in faith amidst a darkening culture. Despite statistics showing church closures, Black remains hopeful. “The Kingdom of God is advancing. The body of Christ is moving forward.”

Winter Jam's mission is to ignite passion among believers, sending them back as beacons of light in their communities. “They’re on fire,” Black says of the youth, eager to share Christ’s life with peers.
